As a child I loved the Moomin books. If I ever get children, I look forward to reading those books aloud to them. However, I had neve read any of Tove Jansson's adult books until I by chance got my hands on this one. In this book, she beautifully captures the magic and misfortune of being a child by sharing short stories based on her own childhood.
